Steven and Delinda Hamilton Return to CCC

FRESNO, Calif. — The Central California Conference (CCC) has named Delinda Hamilton as Senior Youth and Young Adult Ministries Director and Summer Camp Director, effective March 1, 2025. Her husband, Steven Hamilton, will serve as pastor of the Turlock Seventh-day Adventist Church, beginning May 1, 2025, bringing his extensive youth ministry background to support Delinda’s new roles.

CCC is eager to see Camp Wawona thrive under Delinda Hamilton’s leadership, especially after a challenging period. The Conference remains committed to operating Camp Wawona at full capacity, ensuring it becomes a place where young people can connect with Jesus meaningfully. With extensive experience in camp ministry and a master’s degree in youth ministry, Delinda brings a strong background in Teen Bible Academy, youth prayer conferences, and retreats. Her vision is to create an innovative summer camp experience, blending fun and outdoor activities that engage and inspire young people in their faith journey. In addition to overseeing summer camp, Delinda will manage other key youth events for the Conference, including girls’ and guys’ retreats and various youth leadership training sessions for local churches. Steven Hamilton has been appointed as the new pastor of the Turlock Seventh-day Adventist Church after serving in youth and pastoral ministries across various conferences. Previously, he served as the youth director for the Rocky Mountain Conference, where he also supervised camp ministries at Glacier View Ranch and Mills Spring Ranch. With a strong background in youth ministry, community evangelism, and discipleship, Steven brings valuable experience to his new role. His ministry, alongside Delinda, will create a dynamic synergy as they serve and support both youth and local church communities.

Looking Ahead

This dedicated couple marks an exciting new chapter for the CCC’s youth ministries, summer camp programming, and Turlock church.
